Senior Backend Ruby Developer – 4 Day week – €60K

We have recently partnered with a client that have made it through the ‘’start up’’ phase, made it through a pandemic and are now scaling up by navigating – people first approach.

They have developed an innovative GPS product using state of the art technology in order to keep their beloved Safe & Healthy.

Following their success they are going through a massive phase of growth. They are looking for a Senior Backend Ruby Developer to join their cross functional backend development team which currently sits at 10.

You will have the opportunity to see your code make a difference worldwide in matter of weeks, if not days.

You will;

• Design and implement core APIs
• Work on the back-end systems handling data from their GPS devices
• Handle and optimize internal manufacturing, logistics and return management applications
• Build prototypes for future projects
• Optimize availability and scalability for existing services

Key requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails
• Experience with NoSQL databases and Message Queues
• Worked with CI /CD
• Analytical thinker with great problem-solving skills
• Motivated to work on highly available systems
• Lives the mantra “Release early, release often”
• Very good English skills
