Android Developer – Kotlin – Barcelona

My client is an award winning Property platform based in Barcelona. They have recently secure €10 million in funding and are looking to enhance their Mobile development team by hiring an experienced Android Developer.

You will join a team of 36, with 5 dedicated mobile developers.

The ideal profile will have come from a start-up background, and enjoys working in a fast paced environment. You must be the type of person that brings the team solutions not problems. Open to learning and able to take valuable constructive feedback.

You will be responsible for

Writing high quality code to ship new features to their native mobile app. Refactor the existing code to improve the performance and maintainability. While managing the delivery process into the Play Store.

To Be considered you must have;

• BSc in computer science or equivalent experience
• Over 2.5 years of experience with native Android development (Android Studio + Java)
• Commercial experience working with MVC / MVP design patterns,
• Experienced with the best OOP and best practices
• Over 1 year’s experience with Dependency injection (Dagger 2), Retrofit, RxJava
• A solid experience in writing RESTful APIs
• Prior experience with Agile software development
• Professional proficiency in English Verbal & Written
• Experience with Kotlin is highly desirable.
