Job Description:

They are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Senior Android Engineer with a strong background in mobile app development to join our team in Valencia, Spain. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Android app, which enables users to verify their identity using their smartphone and electronic identity document. The ideal candidate will have experience with Kotlin and NFC Technologies.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop and maintain our Android app using Kotlin and Android Studio
Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code that meets the highest standards
Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new features and improvements
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the app’s stability and performance
Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement scalable and efficient systems
Stay up-to-date with the latest Android technologies and trends
Ensure that the app meets the highest security and privacy standards
Contribute to the development of the overall product roadmap

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in Android app development using Kotlin and Android Studio
Strong understanding of mobile app development best practices
Experience with Android frameworks such as Android Jetpack, Room, and Retrofit
Experience with NFC technology and developing NFC-based apps
Experience with Git and agile development methodologies
Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and algorithms
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience in developing secure and privacy-focused applications
